I finished stitching this little Mill Hill kit a few days ago, but still have to make in into an ornament or a magnet.

What a fun design, and I love the effect of the crescent bead/sequin.

As I said I would, I started my gift from my daughter-in-law’s brother and his family. I love it, but oh my gosh, my hands!! It is so difficult to get my right hand in a good position (i.e., a nonpainful one) inside the pouch. I tried stitching in hand, but that hurt both hands, so now I’m using a super small tension hoop. That has relieved most of the stress from my left hand. Does anyone have any tips for stitching a premade pouch like this? I should add...I don’t want to take it apart and reassemble it. Worse case scenario is I just work on it for no more than an hour or so at a time, with plenty of ibuprofen on hand. :-)

Anyway, here is my progress. It’s going to be sooo cute.

Oooh my hands ache for you Debby - it must be so difficult working in such a confined space. No ideas have popped out of my head, except perhaps Mabel might have some hints for you. Good Luck and stick with short stitching times.

What a great start!

Like Sally my hands and wrists ache just thinking about how to stitch this fun project, so I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions to help, just wanted to say a HUGE Well Done getting this far.

Working on a ready-made pouch is SO difficult! You've made an incredible start here :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

I agree! This has to be an extra added difficulty but should be worth it in the end!

Thank you! That is what I will do - no rush to finish it so I will work on it in small time (and pain) increments. Wish me luck. :-)
