Good progress. Teddy is looking much better now that he has his identifying mustache. What a wonderful keepsake this will be of your visit there.

Here are all four of my cross stitch pieces from my road trip with friends back in 2019.

What a great way to remember a special trip! Are you going to frame them together or individually?

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them. I'm toying with the idea of turning them into either a lap quilt or a quilt type wall hanging. If I frame them, it would probably be individually because together would require a rather large frame and I can probably utilize wall space better if they are individual.
I'm open to suggestions.

I personally like the idea of a lap quilt. Then in the winter you can cozy up and stay warm and be reminded of your trips. But then I am fond of afghans and staying cozy warm in winter.

What a great set of souvenirs, extra special because of memories of the trip and having made them yourself!

Here’s a very small little guy. This is Scotland Postage Stamp, Cute Embroidery by Kate. I left the needle in the fabric so you can see the size.

Teeny weeny! and cute
(Shouldn't it be pence instead of cents though
?)

I wondered about that…might have to do some investigation and change it.

It is cute
I would leave it as it is. Scottish stamps (like all British stamps) do not have the country written on them, they have a Rampant Lion known as the "Lion of Scotland" in the top left hand corner to indicate it is Scottish.

I changed it to 19 pence. Don’t ask me why I changed the 14 to a 19…it just sounded better.
This designer has a lot of stamp designs and they’re all pretty cute
but definitely do not resemble actual stamps. They typically incorporate the flag of the country. I googled the Rampant Lion. He’s pretty cool and would look great as a cross stitch.

Here is the 14c “stamp” converted to 19p. Now I just have to finish it as a magnet for the friend going to Scotland with me. I’ll hide it in her luggage at some point.
(When another friend and I visited Elaine in Florida, she had to work so Allison and I had the day to ourselves. We went to a dollar store and bought plastic zombies which we hid all over her house. When Elaine and I went to Hawaii, I hid a bunch of paper hula girls in her luggage. When I went to Florida for a cruise, we went to a small elephant preserve before and washed elephants. When I got home, there were four plastic elephants in my luggage. It’s a thing. Lol)

My stitchy friend gave Elaine and I each one of these kits when we spent the day with her and her family on our second day in Scotland. (She lives near Huntly in Aberdeenshire.)
This one is mine:
This is Elaine's. (She does not stitch and has no interest in learning. She told me I had to do it for her.)

Oh that is so adorable! I love those shaggy little cows
and this captures them really well for such a small design.
