Perfect timing if you're off to see the sequel - I have to admit my husband would feel similarly (as he usually does whenever I complain about redoing even the odd bit of my work-in-progress!) - looks gorgeous and I guess it's always good for little ones to see hard work coming up with great results and to learn patience....haven't tried this with my 2.5 year old but as the calendar for her is next on my list...well...

Having been away from the forum and not so much time or the inclination to stitch this is still not finished!! I have been making a few stitches here and there and Ive promised myself I will finish this, this year! famous last words

Heres the progress so far, the top half is done and work on Sally is under way. I didnt reallly enjoy doing the mountain range at the top and I think that this was responsible for the loss of my stitchy bug

for what you have done so far. Really cute. My grandsons would go nuts for this one as they love Cars. Good thing those mountains are done. They look good, but if they were why your stitchy bug left, its good you don't have to do more of them.
You have less than half the alphabet left. How many cars besides Sally are left?

This looks so good. And now that you are up to Q the end is in sight. How many more cars to go? They are fantastic. My grandsons would love it, as they love Cars.

It's done! I put the last stitch in last night and here it is

Its creased and a bit grubby so not the best picture. I plan on washing it today and the search for a frame is now on x
