Got February and March done on the Owl SAL. Am gonna try to finish the first row tomorrow by doing April, and plan to catch up to July during the week, at which point I'll be ready to start a new longer SAL, like my Starry Night from HAED or my Sakura Geisha.

thanks for the info on the fabric Laura--I am thinking of using a spice 32 count evenweave or maybe a pale blue aida for my owl SAL--need to sort out how large it will be first though

I saw some ppl using blue fabric for the owls and it looks adorable! They'd look really delicate on 32 ct as they're already a small design.

Those are just too adorable!!!!! What is it with grandma's collecting owls? My grandmother collected them as well, I wonder what happened to them all after she passed????

Almost a full month without updating anything here. But I'm not gone! I've been busy and had to put my stitching aside for a while but I managed to sit the past few days and work on my SAL, didn't want to be yet another month late on it. So I just finished July meaning I'm all caught up!

I hope to get the July Bird done tomorrow too, so I can finally get working on my Starry Night.

Was also going through everyone's SAL and there's so much I've missed! I can't possibly comment on all but I'm seeing some great progress from everyone! As usual you guys make me wanna stitch all day so I can share as well.

July Bird is done!

The plan now is to work on my Starry Night for a couple of weeks before doing August Bird and Owl. I'm still very intimidated about the HAED so let's see if I'll keep at it.
