I'm really enjoying watching this one - I'm about to start my first HAED so it's encouraging to see how quickly you're getting along with this and to read about your experiences.

Could I ask what you are stitching it on (sorry if you already posted that - I couldn't find it, but I am a bit blind)?

I am very close to finishing the first page of chart!!! For those just following my SAL, I am starting in the centre of the design. As I near the end of this first page I am left with quite a bit of confetti stitches which is very annoying. I think I will try to do the next page in 10x10 blocks and maybe try parking my stitches.

Anyway, here is a photo of my progress. You can see the paw at the top left and the paw at the bottom right coming along.

Looks great. There is a real advantage to starting in the middle since you get to see more than just background in the beginning. I love how the paws are emerging and the purple of the cape is lovely. Looking forward to the next update.

So -- the photo I just posted was taken a few days ago. I have been stitching every night for about 4 hours and am proud to announce that, save for about 10 cross stitches I still need to do but don't have the floss for, I AM DONE THE FIRST PAGE!!!!!!!!!!

It's been a few weeks, I think, since I updated here. This past week has been difficult as I'd been plagued with migraines, so that does not lend itself to stitching. I was able to get some work done on the weekend, so here is a photo. I am diligently working through the second page of chart and have set a goal of May 25 to complete it. Wish em luck!
