Stunning!! :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

What a fabulous piece of work. How long overall would you say it has taken you Carolyn? I can't make the beads out, but can imagine they add alot to the effect as well.
You should be really, really proud of yourself.

TBear, I started on March 4, 2009. I always write down starting and ending dates. I keep little 3x5 cards of my notes (fabric used, changes with floss, problems or new solutions) with the charts. I really wanted it to be finished before their 6 month anniversary, but with the FIL getting sick, it slowed the progress a little. (He's doing fine by the way). Because this chart had large blocks of white, it didn't take as long as you would think.

Un, what's next? Umm, I'm not sure. I had planned on starting the HAED right away but now I'm thinking it might be better to do something a bit less extensive. I have some great Christmas charts that I'm thinking I might start instead. But not today! Today the stitching is put away. :D

I can't believe you completed that so quickly Carolyn!! That is amazing.
I honestly expected you to say you had been working on it for a long time.
I am still awestruck by it I have to say. It looks like a complicated design.

Carolyn, that is an absolutely stunning piece of work -- it looks wonderful with the gold and I can just imagine hoe the beads add to the design! You must be so proud, and you certainly deserve a party; but I can quite understand that after something this intense you are feeling at a bit of a loose end now. Find something that you really really want to do and you'll soon be in full flow again :-)

Absolutely gorgeous.

Break out the champagne (vintage, I think, don't you?) and little bits of yumminesses to keep us honest. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:
