So very lovely.. I'm in lust for this pattern so bad! I may have to nudge my monochrome sampler that I'm working on ahead a bit faster since this would make a good replacement for it I think.. even though it's not monochrome, you only work in one color at a time, perfect for those times when I don't want to fuss with all the colors in a HAED.

Geting ever more impressive and beautiful (and colourful!)

What is the orangey band (band 4?) made up of? It looks very dense and textural!

Hi Mabel! So glad to see you back (haven't read your updated threads yet so you will probably get another greeting from me  there). The stitches used in band 4 are rice stitch, scallop stitch and ray stitch. They do give it a lovely texture. And I love the way they merge together so that it is even hard for me when I look at it to seperate them. I think band 6 (starting that today) has 4 stitches. Hope to get that one completed over the week-end, but the weather here is improving and I have errands that I have been putting off and that's going to cut into my stitchy time. :( (and then I have to finish the last 3 months of SOW and then...)

Worked on this one last week-end and this week-end and completed Band 6 and first half of Band 7. I also discovered that when ordering threads I messed up and ordered two of the same color and missed one color(which is the one I need now, of course) so have to wait until my order is shipped (with a few others of course - can't spend all that shipping for only one little spool, can I? Good thing I'm not in the Stitch from Stash challenge). I did receive my usual help but then we warmed up for a few days and my assistants chose sunbathing on their catio to the difficult task of stitching.

In the evening when it got colder, however, Laverne and I did have a few disagreements about who owned the instructions and charts.

For anyone thinking about this design, go for it. It is sooooooo much fun. If the threads aren't here next week-end, I will work on my last three months of SOW. Missing my hardenger.

Thanks for looking.

That's fantastic! I hope to do this one...just not sure when.

And I love the kitty pictures...Laverne is giving quite the stink eye in the first, and then the cold shoulder...uh that's not her shoulder :-)...in the other. I just love all our furry assistants.

It looks wonderful! Hopefully your threads will arrive soon! I have thought about getting this chart, but I am intimidated by all the specialty stitches. They did come out with a version with only full cross stitches so that may be the ticket for me.

:applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: Wonderful to see the Ladies again and their catio is ideal to warm up on. "Now now Laverne, glaring like that is no way to get what you want and neither is sulking" Wonderful pics of them, Tuppence sends "meows purrs" to his lady friends.

Love your Twisted Band one and its gorgeous colours and interesting stitches. Hope your thread turns up soon though. Thanks for the pics  .
