I talked to my lawyer today and he said I could be hearing back anytime between tomorrow and January. I keep hoping it will be sooner rather than later, but I have things I need that I won't be able to get until I start getting that money and idk how long that'll be. I'd also really really hoped I'd have my own place again before christmas, but its starting to look/feel like I won't.

Hang in there, Brandi. You are so close to getting this all resolved. I know January seems like an eternity (and hopefully you'll get an answer sooner), but you can do this. I know things are going to change for the better soon.

Good news ladies, gents and pets, I got the decision letter in the mail today. I have been approved. Now I just gotta wait on that money. But it's coming soon. Thanks for all the support, thoughts and prayers.

Thanks everyone! It is quite a relief indeed. I spoke to my lawyer today and he said I can expect my first payment within the next 45 days. I might get it as soon as November, but it could be as late as early December. Hopefully it's November.

Anyway, I can start looking into apartments now, even though I won't be able to move until I have income.

Oh Brandi that is such really brilliant news!mim so happy for you!! I know how hard it is to get disability payments in the UK and I know the U.S. Have even more hoops.

Onwards and upwards now! Hopefully your health will be a bit better now as well without the stress of it all.
