Thank you all for your kind words. Can't wait to see the picture finished, as I have Anchor's "British Waterways" in my drawer. In 2006 we spent a week on "Pegasus" narrow boat exploring Worcestershire-Staffordshire canal, so there is more to that project than just a beautiful view.

Have been stitching all day, but in this household it is easier to stitch 1/3 of a project than to make someone take a photo of the WIP, let alone load it into my computer. Well, here it is:

It is growing well Lyudmilla. I just love those warm colours, especially when the weather is chilly.

This is beautiful, all those lovely warm colours, so pretty. Once finished it will be a stunning picture. Makes me want to do one but I'm not good with shades of brown. Look forward to seeing this one again soon. Well done

Thank you, Carole and Sally, for your kind words. After posting this update I stitched another decent piece, so now it is just the tops of the trees, the sky and a small part of the street in the very front. Interestingly, the windows and the garland are already "shining" even without backstitch. Merejka obviously has talented designers. And despite many colours, the chart is very clear and the work goes fast.
