Have a lovely visit with your sister. You are always needed, but I’m sure everyone will behave until you get back. Wish I did have an eagle’s eye but am glad to be able to see.

I wasn't quite sure where to post this but i thought most people sooner or later come to the S&G so this seemed like a good place :-)

If you are thinking of going to the London Knitting & Stitching Show in October, but haven't got your tickets yet, wait! I have three pairs of complimentary tickets to give away. I am only allowed to do so in a raffle/competition, so I'm asking people to comment or message me saying which of my four workshops they'd most like to attend (don't worry, I won't check if you'll actually book ;-) ) and then I'll draw three names at random on 15th September. So if the show is doable for you, comment or message and you'll be in with a chance of two free tickets!

I'm following WW's excellent advice and relaxing here with :tea: in front of the fire, looking out over frosty lawn to the loch. Today is a no-cooking day. Leftovers are available whenever anyone else finally surfaces (it was a late night...). But I have brought you some Marlborough Pudding as well as pumpkin pie, made from my very own home-grown pumpkin. I was so proud! :P

It is indeed. And may I ask what Marlborough Pudding is (could google it of course, but I'm being lazy)

Basically apples, eggs, butter and sugar in a puff pastry base. Everyone seems to love it, but frankly, I've never made it to my satisfaction. Perhaps I need a new recipe...

One that seems unbelievably simple and the females in my household love is 'Gypsy Tart'. Personally, I think it's vile, but I leave you to make your mind up:

I do love no-bake cheesecake: https://www.keep-calm-and-eat-ice-cream ... heesecake/

I love any sort of no-bake cheesecake. Can't eat it anymore, but I still love it (if you see what I mean). If you want to really give you gallbladder a workout, try this. :anotherfrog:
