Me, too. Don't think I'd get a loan, though. Must win the lottery. Only answer.

@Mabel: totally agree, which is why I enjoy the Ig Nobel Prizes.
I noticed your racehorse, too, in the list of potential projects. Nothing to stop you registering from the UK. The cost doesn't include travel...
Jacquie Carey's sweet bag would be my go-to project.

Tickets to the Knitting and stitching show they are visiting may be cheaper directly

Quite possibly, but you have to include transport there and back. Anyway, the Ally Pally is probably not the most interesting thing about this "tour", although I'd like to go one day -- or at least get to Harrogate. I am going to the SEC in Glasgow at the start of March for the first time in years. The exhibitioners actually sound interesting for a change -- and, of course, I'm on the hunt for slightly different stuff than I was back then. It may be a small show, but I'm hoping it's perfectly formed...!

Since most of you have easier access to BBC programs than those of us on this side of the big pond, you may have already seen this, but I learned a few new things about our feline friends from this very interesting video:

How do Cats Use Their Whiskers?

OMG that course and the cost! :faint: It would be heaven to attend though, ah well, a girl can dream.

I never knew that about the cat's whiskers, absolutely fascinating. I've seen a couple of those programmes, the one where they track how far the neighbour hood cats roam was very interesting too.

Isn't it amazing we have people doing these studies and making programmes and we can find them at our leisure on the interwebbynet.

My neighbor recently adopted two kittens (brothers). One of them started chewing off the other’s whiskers. I think he’s over it now…or he ran out of whiskers. :D

That's adorable. Just the same colours, smugness and shagginess as our Ozzie.. But the ear tufts need work.

Richard.

Yup. And you're likely to find it in an opened box, of course.

Did their parents ever tell them not to play with their food, I wonder?

Amazing, but.. no. Just no. Not on any food I'm going to eat.
How much dandruff do those bases rolled across his shoulders pick up? How many stray hairs? How much cat fur?

Well, quite. :anotherfrog: Those contests are a terrible waste of valuable food, and I am officially a grumpy old woman.
