I do feel a little guilty that I got to rip open the package immediately, and she's had to sit and wait to open her Stashmas gift from me  I think it'll be worth it, though. :x:
Yay! Glad it arrived safely and you like the thread too! Just keep reminding me of your gift.. heheh only a few more days to wait though.

@Tracy: does that mean the cutting will begin?

My postman has been busy leaving me cards to go pick up parcels from the post office. In the past couple of weeks I had to pick up:

5 HAED charts:

4m of fabric from Sew and So:

Now I consider these prints as stitchy related as they are from two HAED artists. I loved the night/day of John Shannon when I saw it released on HAED but I didn't like how the blended area got charted, so decided the get the print instead and it came as a pair with its 'opposite'. The other artist is Annya Kai who has just had a couple of charts released, but I couldn't wait to see what would be charted.

Also got some more beads for my hardanger ornaments.

That frog is absolutely gorgeous Tracy - so much nicer than what I see outside every night now.

Love all your stash - you are going to be busy stitching.

 Just wait till Mabel sees those!!!
She's just seen them :-)!
Actually I knew about this company and I have their shade card on my computer -- just haven't got round to ordering them yet.... (postage from Australia tends to add to the total rather, and there is the tricky business of import duties)

Lovely stash everyone  !

I got an unexpected parcel toay; well, I'd ordered it but only yesterday, and here it was! They are Stef Francis hand-dyed perle, and you can probably guess what they are intended for :-)

Love those threads Mabel  (no surprise there) ! I've been oggling Stef's website for a while, along with Tamar Embroideries (hand dyed threads in Cornwall who'd've thought!) for new to me threads - but I always get confused over all the different types!

Thanks for the link to Tamar Embroideries, Amanda. I had not heard of them, despite them only being about 5 miles away!

Now that I have the fabric, I'm not sure whether I will cut it up, or if I just store it as is, with a cutting layout in the bag, until I am ready to start one of the designs on each piece, and then cut it up :thinks:

I do have the cutting layouts for 3 of the pieces already (the fourth isn't completely full, so is likely to change to work better):
