I do feel a little guilty that I got to rip open the package immediately, and she's had to sit and wait to open her Stashmas gift from me I think it'll be worth it, though.
Yay! Glad it arrived safely and you like the thread too! Just keep reminding me of your gift.. heheh only a few more days to wait though.
My postman has been busy leaving me cards to go pick up parcels from the post office. In the past couple of weeks I had to pick up:
5 HAED charts:
4m of fabric from Sew and So:
Now I consider these prints as stitchy related as they are from two HAED artists. I loved the night/day of John Shannon when I saw it released on HAED but I didn't like how the blended area got charted, so decided the get the print instead and it came as a pair with its 'opposite'. The other artist is Annya Kai who has just had a couple of charts released, but I couldn't wait to see what would be charted.
Night/Day and Day/Night by John Shannon
Annya Kai:
Also got some more beads for my hardanger ornaments.
The new and a back issue of WOXS, 2 pieces of 28ct Jobelan - Ivory & Antique White, a map of France chart for the OH - wish there was a Portugal one as well for him and a book of Winnie the Pooh watercolour charts which is discontinued.
She's just seen them !
Actually I knew about this company and I have their shade card on my computer -- just haven't got round to ordering them yet.... (postage from Australia tends to add to the total rather, and there is the tricky business of import duties)
Lovely stash everyone !
I got an unexpected parcel toay; well, I'd ordered it but only yesterday, and here it was! They are Stef Francis hand-dyed perle, and you can probably guess what they are intended for
Love those threads Mabel (no surprise there) ! I've been oggling Stef's website for a while, along with Tamar Embroideries (hand dyed threads in Cornwall who'd've thought!) for new to me threads - but I always get confused over all the different types!
Amanda
Band Sampler (SANQ)
Elle Brodes des Lettres Carmin (Reflets de Soie)
Alice (Aury TM)
Mini Tears of Yesterday (HAED)
Miss Cherry Blossom (Mirabilia)
Now that, Mrs MBK, was just nasty!!!! Showing me a new source of lovely threads just as we are about to go away! I will have to bookmark them for when we come back

Thanks for the link to Tamar Embroideries, Amanda. I had not heard of them, despite them only being about 5 miles away!

@Tracy: does that mean the cutting will begin?
Now that I have the fabric, I'm not sure whether I will cut it up, or if I just store it as is, with a cutting layout in the bag, until I am ready to start one of the designs on each piece, and then cut it up
I do have the cutting layouts for 3 of the pieces already (the fourth isn't completely full, so is likely to change to work better):
That is a wonderful gift from your mom. I'd be starting a new page too without a doubt. Enjoy!
