Yet another new person

Hi, my name is Ella and I reside in California. I am 29 and have been stitching since I was 10. The hobby kind of fizzled in college as I perused other interests and hobbies. However, my sister is getting married at the end of this month and I decided to make her a sampler commemorating her nuptials. My Mom was given one from older sister and I thought it was only fitting that her older sister should make one for her. So I dusted off my book collection and got to designing and stitching. I am over half way done and am remembering what a wonderful past time it is. I have started researching resources and found this site and decided I could always use some guidance on an art form I still consider myself a novice at. I looking forward to getting to know you all!

I think it's wonderful that you're doing that for your sister... I'm the eldest in my family and when my middle sis got married, I stitched her a sampler too. Looking forward to seeing photos of yours!
