Hi happy stitchers!

Post by lucyanna118 »

Hi there, I'm Lucy, I live in Lincoln, UK. I'm 28 and have been stitching for about 15 years. I have just left the Royal Air Force after 11 years service, my husband is still serving. I have got 2 children, most of my projects have been for them, Charlie who is 21 months and Lily who is 3 weeks.
So happy to have found this forum as I've had cabin fever since I stopped working despite being extemely busy stitching for my new edition, Lily! (I'm so sick of Disney Princess and was so proud I finished all my projects for her room before she was born!).
I'm really looking forward to getting involved with some of the exhanges!

Welcome Lucy and congrats on the new baby! :)

Stitching for others? Methinks you should stitch something for yourself once you've stitched that design for Lily! ;)

Hi there, Thanks everyone for your warm welcome......I've since added the completed 2010 projects and my current projects, you'll be glad to know the husband sampler is for myself it says "When I married Mr Right I didn't know his first name was always" it's very pretty and a quick project. The toy Story cast is for my nephew for his Birthday and Christmas as they are both in December and it's a very large project. I will put all my recent work into the gallery when I can!

Once again, it's so lovely to have found this forum with such lovely people, thanks for a great welcome!!!
