Ladies and gentlemen it's that time of year again, the Northern hemisphere's weather is turning cooler, shops are encouraging us to start thinking about Christmas, and it's time to sign up for Stashmas! Kell has very kindly agreed to assist with the organisation again, thank you Kell!

Please see here for a list of frequently asked questions about Stashmas, which covers important questions like "what is Stashmas"! Just to make it really clear, it does involve buying a gift or gifts up to the value of 10 UK pounds, which is about 15 US dollars, 12 euros, a bit over 16 Australian dollars, and around 21 NZ dollars. That's according to google today (Tues 7th September), feel free to check for more up to date information.

Right, if you've read the FAQs and would like to participate, all you have to do is post your name in this thread before the end of September. If you post in the FAQ thread, that post may be missed, so please make sure you state your intent in this thread!

This thread will be open for signing up until Thursday 30th September. On the morning of Friday 1st October I'll change the name of the thread to indicate that it is closed. If you want to sign up but aren't sure if your circumstances might change and prevent you from participating after all, you can always pull out at a later date. If you sign up for this and then pull out without telling anyone, that will be considered very ill-mannered and may prevent you from being allowed to participate in future years.

There is also a Stashmas wish-list thread up here, so you can give your sender an idea of what you'd like to receive. The details of who's going to send to whom will be sorted out and PM'd to individuals in October, so after you've been told who you're sending to you can then go through the wish list and make sure the gifts you're thinking of will be appropriate to your person.
