Just so everyone is aware, I will be sending private messages to everyone who has signed up for stashmas after the sign-up thread has closed to check if you are definitely going to participate, because we have had problems in previous years with people not following through on what they've promised. Please look out for that message landing in your inbox in early October, you will need to reply to it and there will be a deadline! I'm not trying to kill the fun of the event, jut to make sure everyone is following the same guidelines.

There are a number of newer members signing up and, while I don't intend to say that I don't trust you just because you're new, I don't know you either! If you have signed up to take part you will be required to confirm closer to the time that you do intend to follow through with the full commitment you are making, if you don't confirm then you will not be able to participate.

Kute Kitty, totally understand where you're coming from and agree with the approach. Some people sometimes sign up to an exchange without realising that there is a commitment, I know I've made this mistake in the past, and it's not one I intend to make again... because someone out there will end up without. And thats just not cool.
