Last day to sign up is today, folks! Private messages will then go out at the weekend asking everyone to confirm their participation in Stashmas by the following weekend (that'll be Sunday 10th October). If you don't reply to the PM by the 10th October, your name will be taken off the list, we've got to do everything we can to make sure everyone participating in this is an active user to keep it as fair as possible.

Kitty, could I suggest perhaps, when sending the confirmation pms out, you also ask people to give you their email addresses? That way if they dissapear from the forum, you can email them to find out what is happening? What does everyone else think?

I think that's a great idea, Zeb, as I think yoiu actually have to tick a box to get email notifications of your PMs and if you hadn't ticked that box, you wouldn't get the email saying you had a PM. Emails are a good idea as a backup system.

I think we can take it as read that anyone who is willing to hand over their mailing addres (which everyone who has signed up will have to do) will be fine with also giving thei regular email address, especially as we promise it will ONLY be used to contact you regarding the Stashmas Excahnge and will NOT be given out to any third parties, or even anyone else on the forum - it will strictly be oly the organisers who have the emails.

Your mailing addresses will only go to the organisers and the person who will be sending you your Stashmas Gift - no other members.

Also, if everyone on the list can please make sure that they have posted in the Stashmas Wishlist Thread, that would be very helpful, as it means your Secret Stashmas Sender can have a look and tailor your gift to you!

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to drop out of the chart exchange and stashmas. Moneywise and healthwise, it's just impossible for me to do. I won't be actively participating in the board for a while either. I'm sorry if this messes anything up, I hope that by letting y'all know as soon as I could, that it won't cause too many problems.
