Here is what I have been working on lately. Not much cross stitching time with all the sewing I was busy with.

This a kit for a table runner that my boyfriend's mum started years ago, but then she couldn't finish it because of her eyesight. So she sent it to me and I continued her work.

I am not hundred percent sure, but I think it is an Eva Rosenstand pattern, although I couldn't find it anywhere online.

On this side she did most of the stitching, I just finished it:

And this side is all my work:

I am not at all sure if I like it or not, but I just want to finish it before I start something else (apart from minis, of course).

It does have an "Eva Rosenstand" look about it. It's good of you to finish it for her... nice colours. I'm sure she really appreciates your efforts.

I have a number of (mostly) tapestries of flowers in vases that I want to finish up for my (late) MIL, but haven't quite managed to get to them yet... :(

:applesauce: very pretty, both of your stitching. And very nice of you to finish this up for your boyfriend's mother. Is there a lot more to do?

Hello, long time no see :)

I have something to show you. I have entered an embroidery competition with the topic "how can we save the world with embroidery". I was not sure if I could post a picture before, but now that I know the result - I did not win - I can show you what I came up with:

Image

And some details:

The text says in Swedish:
Under this walnut shell there is a butterfly hiding from the rain - according to my 5-year-old friend, Lizi. This is to honour everything and everyone who have to hide from the suffering of the world.

Even though I didn´t win, I think I have done really well, I love this piece and am really happy about it.
