:applesauce: The Christmas ornament is so pretty and delicate looking. The Afghan design is also lovely. I really like the colors and am looking forward to seeing more of it.

Some new finishes.

The Celtic Knot on my afghan:

And Dove:

In this I used the two different methods of stitching with variegated threads that I learnt from Mabel  - stitching in rows for stripey effect and in circles for spotty effect. Can you see the difference? :D

I love any design with a celtic scheme and this is no exception. So are you doing a whole afghan of celtic stuff? Don't know how I've managed to miss that.

One more square on my Celtic afghan. It comes from a book, and it was supposed to be done in greys to look like a stone cross. But I wanted it to fit in with the other patterns so I changed the colours to gold/copper-ish, and did the corners in the same red and blue I used in the other pattern.

Image

This is the afghan so far with four patterns: two I received rom Jilly, one bought on e-bay, one comes from a book. The photo doesn't do justice to the colours.

Image

I will use some motifs from the BoInk freebie I stitched a few years ago, the birds, and then two smaller knots or something for the four corners. Then I will decide whether it needs more or not. Perhaps less is more since the colours are so vibrant.

:applesauce: Beautiful. And aren't afghans nice to stitch on in the cold weather. Not only to you get to stitch, but you have a cozy afghan to keep you warm at the same time!
