Good morning/evening everyone! I finally was able to get a hold of a real camera to take a picture of the Paula Vaughn "Summer Breeze" design that I completed back in early September. This was a labor of love for many years- mainly because I'd put it away for a long long time (sometimes a year or more) then pull it back out to work on. I was sad to see this get finished as much as I was happy to see the completed work; I love this picture, it reminds me of my great-grandmother and my dream home.
The completion of this picture is also what helped me find this forum; when I finished it, I was searching for a new chart to do and just couldn't get happy with anything I found. In the process, I stumbled across this group and I've been enjoying every minute .

That's such a pretty scene; I like everything about it! You did a wonderful job stitching it! I've never tried a Paula Vaughn design, but I do love them alot!
I've never seen this design before. It's gorgeous! I sometimes have trouble dealing with the closure of a project. They become such a part of you when you stitch them to life

This is an amazing piece, great work I know exactly what you mean about being happy that a project is finished, but missing working on it at the same time, anything new feels a bit strange!
Very beautiful completion!! I have only done one Paula Vaughn, but kept buying her books because I want to do more. Having her pictures around the house has a very calming effect.

That is really beautiful and I am not surprised you are sad to come to the end. Sounds like it has been like re visiting an old friend every time you have picked it up again. Lucky for us you have finished though, we get to see it in all its glory
