It really doesn't matter how long a UFO was a UFO, the main thing is you are enjoying stitching again and it looks a lovely colouful project too.

Well done you :whoop:
I put the pink cabinet knobs on my scroll frame awhile ago

What do I have to tell myself to actually take this old, tedious UFO out of its bag and start again? A bar of chocolate, freshly ground coffee, a bottle of vodka? None of these seem to be incentive enough.... :thinks:

I find that the only thing that works is if I have a UFO that starts yowling loud enough to get my attention.

I consider all UFO clubs and groups a sort of pressure and stress. I would not finish any UFO with deadlines and "must do". Only my own good will can turn them into finishes, but more than 50 % end in a bin.

Mmhh... my ufos are usually noiseless. That'swhy it's so easy to ignore them.
Lyudmila, before you throw anything, especially if it's Ukrainian (I saw some of your folklore-mix-floral works), just pm me. Depending on the project, maybe we could exchange something, if you like. It's worth a try and better than the bin. And I'm ok with something that's already started...

Thank you, I will remember not to throw nice UFOs away but to send them to a good home.

... and when that happens, let me know what you might like in exchange for it - a pattern, kit, thread, fabric, ok?
