I have just registered. My name is Lisa, 42 years young and a single mum to a teenage son of 14. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I have tried various crafts over the years, jewellery making, papercrafts, candlemaking and of course cross stitch which I have been doing for the last 12 years. I only stitch greeting cards as I don't have the patience to stitch anything bigger, I like to see the finished result fairly quickly. I look forward to being a member of this forum and making lots of new friends.
Yes. I'm doing my Xmas cards at the moment. I have just finished a Christening design for my great nephew's christening which is on Sunday. I have yet to put it in a card. What are you stitching?
Im just about to start stitching a winnie the pooh christmas cushion. Still just sorting a few things out and them ill be making a start on it. I will be putting pictures up once i make a start on it to let everyone see my progress.
I hope u have a fantastic time at ur great nephews christening and im sure they will love ur card u have dont for it. Do u have any picture of it?
I'll put it in a card first then I'll scan it into computer. I don't have a digital camera. Am hoping for one for Xmas. You will be very busy making your cushion. I love the Pooh designs, they're very colourful.
My Partner got it me last year for crimbo, he showed me how to use the bluetooth and stuff on it like that. OOOOOOOh new pc great stuff , hope ur havin fun with it.
I recognised your name from EMS.
I too like 'small' projects as I like to see a finish every so often
But I do have a couple of biggies on the go as well
I know. I find it so useful. What I do with all my charts is copy them. I turn them from colour into b/w then I cross the symbols off as I go with a highlighter so I know where I've been.
Thats a good idea at least u aint going to ruin the orig. think i need to invest in a printer with a scanner as my other printer has broke and i wasnt a happy bunny as i have loads of ink left for it. Never mind, best strat looking for a new printer.
