She is looking beautiful and even though it's a chore to stitch the bead the stars it will be worth it in the end.

Thanks everyone your so kind

middithree - this is my first beading project and take it from me although the beads look sooooo gorgeous they are a real pain so I suggest starting with something a little less bead intensive than I did!! If this wasn't going to be a present I think I would have put her away for a while and maybe she would have become a dreaded UFO Arrgh!!

Anyway Im really excited because..........

Image

She's all finished

I did cheat a little and missed the swirly beads out that are supposed to be on the front of her dress, but my aunt will never know and I think it really doesn't need them....she has enough bling imho!

Can't believe the difference taking a photo in the daytime can make, the colours really show up on this photo.

Just got to get her framed now....I will try and post another pic when thats all done.

YAY!! on to the next project :D

That is so gorgeous. The beading is magnificent. I admire your love/hate relationship with beads and wish I could have one. I'm like Rose. hate/hate relationship with beads. I know some of my projects would have looked better with beads so I'm giving you an extra :applesauce: :applesauce: for your work. What a wonderful gift this will be.
