Pattern question
I used to cross stitch a long time ago and I want to pick it up again. I have forgotten how much I used to enjoy it. My question is, can I take any pattern and put it on anything I want. For example, I want to find a pattern of a white tailed deer and cross stitch it on a stocking for a christmas stocking. Can I do this? Or does anyone have any patterns for a stocking with a white tailed deer on it? Any help would be highly appreciated since it has been so long since I have cross stitched! Thanks!
Re: Pattern question
Hello and welcome to the forum from South Carolina. and welcome back to stitching.
As long as the pattern fits what you want to do, there is no reason not to use it. A deer on a Christmas stocking should be very pretty. I don't have anything like it, but I'm sure if someone here does they will point you in the right direction. or "google" white tailed deer cross stitch pattern and you will find way more than you imagined, I am sure.

Re: Pattern question
Welcome to the Forum from Australia. You will be amazed at what you pull up on screen when you google something. I had a ball last night looking for a kit that someone on here is doing and found it too. Not sure its a good idea though - given the amount of stash I already have.
