Looking for a quick "with sympathy" chart

My aunt's elderly mother sadly passed away yesterday morning. She'd had a fall at home last weekend and sustained a brain injury which they knew she would not recover from. She was comfortable and at peace when she passed, and with family. I didn't know her well, my mother's brother married her daughter so we weren't blood relations, but I met her last Christmas and she was wonderful - spirited, witty, charming, very engaging, and clearly very much loved by her daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons. My aunt has in the past been very enthused by and interested in my stitching (more so than the rest of the family, who don't go far beyond polite interest and great enthusiasm when I stitch something for them) so naturally I want to stitch a card for her, letting her know how much I'm thinking of her at this difficult time.

Ideally, I would like to start on something this weekend - so I'm looking for a chart I can download straight away rather than order and have delivered early next week. Can anyone think of something that fits the bill?

I have a small assisi-style art nouveu lily motif that's the right kind of size for a card. You could just add lettering to read "with sympathy" or similar. It's a freebie and could be stitched in any colour. HERE.

I'm thinking either a cross or a lily? You could then add your words with a simple blackwork alphabet.
Calla lillies would be my 1st choice.

A lily would be just right I think - I'm not religious (and don't think they are), so wouldn't feel quite "right" about doing a cross, it feels almost like I'm using the symbol under false pretences. Thank you Kell that lily is beautiful, I'll start on it right now!

For lettering, there's a free backstitch alphabet with the blackwork wedding sampler HERE on my blog if you like.

I found some little labels that I forgot I had in my card making stash which have sorted it out nicely.

This is stitched on 28 count hand-dyed evenweave, in Anchor 1302.

It'll be heading off in the post tomorrow.

Oh it turned out beautifully - I love the colours you used.

Would you mind awfully if I put the pic in the gallery, please?

Following a shockingly bad 24 hours, I find myself in the position of having to make another 3 of these.

Thank you again Kell for the beautiful design.

 for having to stitch three of these cards, despite their being very beautiful, since it sounds like you are dealing with a very sad event. Know you will be in my thoughts and prayers.
