I've done a few hours at home, but will really start properly on Thursday when DH goes back to the department. Son at University goes on Sunday. (Not a day too soon, he's bored rigid! )

C-F, been there and am also doing that. Which is how I got into freelance editing in the first place. 24/7, I know. But you do need to take a break, too, sometimes. I used to do a child exchange with a pal (she got the rough deal: my 2 for her 1), but I looked forward to that afternoon like you wouldn't believe!!

Did the stay at home until both kids started school then worked for the school district so I would be off the same time the kids were. It was very nice kids never had to go to a babysitter. Then when the politics in the district got to be more then I could stand I went to work for my hubby. The kids were in high school and Jr High by then so it was fine. Now I set my own schedule but, that has draw backs to so don't think I have it any easier then you that work in real jobs. I don't work I don't get paid and there are no paid holidays or vacation days to take.
