Hello again everybody!

Post by Kitsune »

Well, I just wanted to let you guys know that I had an awesome christmas, and a great new years day. I'm glad that all of you seem to be doing okay (other than alcoholic accidents with family   ).

I did want to let everybody know that I'm probally going to be dropping down to lurker for a little while though.

I have a new job and have been exceptionally busy lately. It's nice being at the new job, and very rewarding, but as with any job's training period, it leaves me a bit tired for internet stuff.

I'll still be checking in, I just won't be posting as often for the next few months.

Hi Kitsune. Glad to see you back, if only briefly.
Good luck with the job training, it does wear you out for a while, but worth it in the long run.
I think a forum members motto is needed-
A post a day............... :?:

Take care.

... keeps the blues away!

Kitsune, you just do what you need to do, and pop up once in a while. We are all pals here and no one (I'm fairly sure! ) is keeping an attendance sheet. You'll soon have that new job licked into shape.

a post a day keeps the blues away..

i love it! lol..

i told my hubby that i have to stitch at least 30 min every night..
not to get my pieces done..
but to refocus my mind and gear down for the night..

so a stitch a day keeps the crazy away!

Thanks everybody!

Actually I just started that Mask of Autumn Harvest one from Jessica Galbreth/Heaven & Earth designs... But I chickened out and decided to do it on 18 ct Aida instead of 25 ct Linen.

Mind you, it's looking gorgeous (the 1" area that I've been able to do on it, at least  ), but it's huge!

The size ended up coming out at 20" x 30", so my total material size is 30" x 36"... And 50 colours on top of that... I'll put up a stitch along post later, when I've got a slightly larger area done.

My honey is saying that he's going to remove "Engaged" on facebook, and put up an add for a new girlfriend, since he's going to be losing me for a year or so!

I've about 2" done now... Man it going to take forever but be soooo worth it. I've also decided that the best way to do this is to try to do it one page at a time or colour in an area. It's going to be slow going (So far I have a two inch area filled with nothing but black  ), but it'll be so worth it.

My real problem now is that I have about 5 other designs of hers that I would like to do... How am I ever going to find time for all this!

(Kitsune throws up her hands in frustration)

I guess I'd better get on with winning that lottery, eh?
