How do you like that one so far? I saw it at wal-mart and almost got it with it so close to my b-day and christmas I got a look from the hubby! lol

The Hunger Games was a VERY quick read! I read a bit last week, then on Friday evening I started with 25% done (Kindle gives % done) and finished the book. I'd gotten it as my first try at using the Kindle Owners Lending Library, and now that it's December, I can borrow the next volume as part of my Amazon Prime membership. I'll probably set that up once I finish 11/22/63, which looks like it will be interesting, too. Theresa

I've read the whole series of the Hunger Games books and I liked the first one best, although I think they're all worth reading. I actually only "read" the first one, I listened to the last 2. The Roman aspect seems to become more and more prevalent. I'm currently listening to 11-22-63 too, so I'll be interested in your take on it. I'm almost 1/4 of the way through.

I had an extremely busy week last week, so I apologize for not instigating any stimulating conversation. I'm not reading anything super-interesting right now-just finished Lake in the Clouds by Sarah Donati and on my trip I read through most of Darker Angels (second book in a series) by ML Hannover. I'm honestly waiting for Christmas, in hopes I get the next GRRM book! But, to help pass the time I will be starting a book called Red Skies Over Red Seas (can't remember the author right now), which is the second in a series that started with The Lies of Locke Lamora -- very funny fantasy read.

Krystal was so ethereal and beautiful, I couldn't resist adding it. This would be stunning as a wedding gift, too.



Winter Fairy was a 'little different' than some of the fairy stuff I see, and really made me think of playing in the snow at night.
