PCStitch and computer question

Post by agi »

Hello, is there anyone using PCStitch Pro?
I bought it after Christmas. SInce then my computer has been behaving strangely. Some functions slowed down so much... it takes ages to open a file, or save as... Not in PCStitch, other programs. It can take 5 minutes just to open another folder - not joking.
My husband knows a few things about computers but he has no clue what happened. He checked for viruses, nothing. It's only that the problems started roughly the same time as the program was bought.

Has anyone else encountered the same problem?
I wrote to the company right after I bought the program, with a different question, but I got no reply. is it normal?
Thank you for any help.

Sorry, can't really help with PCStitch Pro, but if our pc slows down I usually check out and delete "temporary files" and "temporary internet files" as these do tend to build up a bit and can slow things down.

I have PCStitch7 and have had no problems with it! It is a great program and I use it all the time. Mine is not the pro version so I don't really know if there is a big difference. Sorry!

Check your memory. Do you have the right specs to run this program efficiently? Also close down all the other running programs and see if it makes a difference.

I have had the PC Pro for about half a year. I found no computer problems when I added the program. I would check for other problems and maybe delete it off the computer and reinstall it might have been a glitch with the installation.

I love my Pro

Hi, I don't think PC Stitch is a problem itself. Yes I know just a little but you can delete temporary (internet) files, also try to remove some unnecessary softwares from your Start Menu. Hope you can fix it soon.

Yes, and it§s great. And actually, it seems it was something else that caused the probllem, not PCStitch - and I am so happy for that!
I suddenly remembered that roughly at the same time when I bought it, I also downloaded another program. I deleted that one, and my computer works all right since then, so sorry, PC Stitch.
