Just confessed to my OH that in a moment of weakness I brought the Sistine Chapel chart!!!!

That so cheered me up, thanks for that! He doesn't need to worry this year anyway but do enjoy your chart, I think folk have bought this as a challenge and have to say I have been thinking of that too? Good luck, would love to see your DH's face when he realises it is nearly finished?

I know the feeling. I am yet to complete a project for myself and DH is already worrying about where I am going to hang stuff. I wouldn't mind but we have very few pictures on the walls anyway AND its not like I will be churning them out at a rate of once a week.

Think I'm decided on 22ct hardanger!!! Just emailed sew and so for a price on a piece the right size and going to do some test stitching on the small piece of 22ct hardanger that I have!!!!

22 ct Hardanger is becoming one of my favorite fabrics to stitch on. I am doing the SAL on it 1 over 1 and getting really good coverage. I also started one of skitzzzzz's designs (will start a thread on that one today) doing 2 over 1 which I like for it but I think because there is space between the designs and not the total stitching that a HAED design requires. I am planning on trying 3 over 1 tent stitch on it for my HAED Tabbies.
I will be very interested in what you think when you do your test stitching. And I would think if you start before April 1 they will still let you in on the SAL over on the BB. I would have a very hard time waiting myself once I got all the supplies.

Thanks Carole, I've thrown a few quick stitches into it and am preferring 1over1 I think, looks a lot neater and is easier stitching!!
