ABCs of Parenting FINISHED

This is my new WIP. It's Lizzie Kate's ABCs of Parenting. It was a birthday present from last May and I've been dying to start it ever since. It has hand dyed threads and I'm doing it on 32 count Belfast Linen 2 over 2 (my first time using evenweave, I was a little daunted at first but it's quite simple once you get going!).

:applesauce: great start. i love the Lizzie Kate patterns. You are doing a really good job with this one. Wouldn't know it was your first time on evenweave. I have stitched on evenweave but not on linen. That is a bit daunting for me. You seem to have mastered it.

Great work!! :applesauce: I was looking at this chart earlier and was seriousky tempted, but I think Im going to hold out for the Halloween ABC. So its going to be great to watch this one :applesauce:

I love Lizzie*kate designs, and this one is great! I did the abcs of ageing gracefully and it was such fun to do!

Beautiful start. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: Glad you've got the hang of the linen, it's daunting before you have a go, but if you just keep counting and don't be fazed by the unevenness of the slubs, then it's fine. I've got this one in my stash too, but it's a way down the queue I'm afraid!!

This looks great. I have this pattern in my stash and haven't started it yet. I'm excited to see how yours comes out. Maybe it will motivate me to stitch mine. It is looking wonderful though!!!

Linen was my first venture away from Aida. Once I got used to it it was great, and I'll use it again. Your stitching looks wonderful! :applesauce: :applesauce:
