No, I haven't started it yet! But I now have the final batch of threads, the chart, and the fabric, so I couldn't resist laying them out on my bed just to look at:

Well, I finished my ToS - but I doubt I'll manage to do more than cut out my fabric for this on Monday; I have one lot of visitors in the morning and another lot in the afternoon... :(

Mind you, both lots are useful! :) Morning visit is from security people, recommended by police after the window smash, so should have some helpful advice plus some FREE security fitting if needed.
And in the afternoon a workman comes to fix 3 internal doors that are sticking badly on my carpets...
So not really a wasted day! Just that I won't have the time to do much about Birds on a Wire. :cry:
Although... I have time to measure and cut fabric today, don't I? :dance: If I can drag myself away from the computer...

First 10 x 10 stitch block done, apart from 1 st in bottom left which is better worked in the next block down.
Plus, I have started on the second 10x10.
Took me AGES to do that little bit! Started with 1 over 1, but kept losing the thread and/or needle fell out continually. The holes in the Zweigart fabric LOOK small, but they are HUGE, even though using a size 24 needle. Anyway, now using 2 over 1, which looks a bit much, plus the needle is a bit on the large size now! :doh: Must try and find a smaller needle...

Such a tiny little bit in that big sea of fabric!

I'm using my old, familiar scroll frame, but I think I'm going to transfer it to a snap frame to see if that is better with the fabric - I'm having problems keeping it taut; it's quite a soft, floppy fabric. Grrrr!
