Jilly, this is really wonderful. I love the fabric, too. A superb choice. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Was it difficult to stitch? You said that there is a lot of backstitch - but apart from that, did you like it?

What will you do with it? Is it for Ebony's or Vinnie's room?

I had Dolphin Delight, Evenweave is much paler than the Aida version.
Agi - I did the backstitch as I went along, so much nicer that way, it was easy to stitch, and enjoyable as I knew I did not have huge amounts of backstitching waiting for me at the end
I am not sure who to give it to, I may even give it to my 23yr old son Andrew

Lovely finish Jilly. I haven't seen Polstitches fabric used before and it's really effective. I'm desperately trying not to click on that link now :D

I think I need to do some small projects, I get so inspired by Mabel and others that do such beautiful cards etc.
I think I will complete some 'waiting room' projects that have been stuffed in bags for many months now, since before Vinni's birth  and also make up the hooded jumper I knitted for Vinni.
Then I will dig out a bigger project to sink my teeth into
Ohhhh the anticipation

I love this stage when you are just deciding what to do next and anticipating opening all the new stash you need for it. That fisrt stitch on a crisp new piece of fabric is just lovely :D :D

Mm. :thinks: Sunset? Over treetops? Seems to be a house roof, and possibly a lake or pond...? But some of those 'trees' could be buildings, too... :thinks:
