The chart name caught my attention - then I noticed you started the SAL - my first thought.....oooh goodie - more Laverne pics along with stitchy pics! She brings a smile to my face everytime.

You have made an excellent start. I admire your ability to rotate after 10-15 hours. I look forward to watching this stitch up.

Spent about another 15 hrs (I think 10 hrs is just not enough time, but I'm going to pretend I have a 10 hr rotation anyway) and got a lot more done. Some confetti, but enough blocks or strings of colors that I felt like I made progress. Yes, Laverne tried to help by letting me know that this piece is hers. For those of you with felines, you will recognize what she is doing.

I mean she almost fell off the table as I moved the qsnaps with fabric back. She was determined to mark this piece no matter what.
Her sister Shirley was a good kitty and slept on the chair next to Mama.

I have a little more than a 1/4 of the first page done. I do like the coverage of the 1 over 1 on 25 ct.

This is looking very nice all ready. I am such a slow stitcher that 15 hours would be nothing for me. I swear it takes me a month just to do one page. I can spend 30 minutes just looking at the chart saying hmm okay where should I start, what colour, do I want to work on confetti or blocks of colour etc. etc. I sure hope that I improve as time goes on.

ME too!!! I hate being so slow. Nothing ever gets done.

I think getting a page done in a month is great progress. If there is a lot of confetti it takes longer, though I am actually more likely to make mistakes and have to

large blocks of color because I don't pay as much attention to what I am doing. I have lots of time for stitching as I am retired and can stitch watching tv or listening to books. stitching speed is so individual. We have some who are amazingly fast. And I didn't do all that stitching in 15 hrs since this was my second update. Probably about 30 hrs total so far. I never have kept track before and it's been kind of fun to do.
