The dress and jacket are fantastic! You're a natural at this whole sewing thing, obviously. And then you go and lost weight? Over-achiever.

They are both gorgeous Agi. Why don't you draw the quilting design onto the tops using a soluable marker? I usually do that, especially when I am hand quilting anything.

Superb designs there, Agi!
When I made a small lap quilt I didn't do the quilting all over. I combined my love of cross stitch with the quilting and made small individual cross stitches all over the design. It worked well. You can also do French Knots. The wadding will stay in place.
I have to confess that I let my friend finish off the edging, though!

What a great idea, Wendy! Thanks. I made only one complete quilt so far, and the quilting is really horrible on it, but the binding didn't turn out too bad. I am hoping for some improvement since then, so I am practicing on small pieces.
