Big things have happened in my life!!!

Here's the short version:
1/8 I was in an interwiev at the cellphone
3/8 I got the job! Finally a permanent job!!!
6/8 I found a new home for my birds
7/8 I got an apartment at the new place
8/8 I ordered a car to move my furniture
9/8 my furnitures moved
13/8 I moved - over 2000 kilometers!!
14/8 I got my furnitures in my new home
16/8 I started in my new job

Soooo then you maybe understand that I haven't got much time for stitiching?

Here you can see how fare I've moved. I now live nearly at the North Pole
(I lived at A, and moved to B)



I needed something I could stitch without using my brain. So from 12/8-18/8 I've stitched this pot holder:



I love my new home and the new town! It's only 2200 people living here, and everyone knows everyone. It's mountains around the whole place as you can see from my living room window:

A small community is a great place to get to meet new friends. Hope everything goes will for you in your new home..

What wonderful news. You have been amazingly busy. What will you be doing at the new job? I would want to spend all my time at the window enjoying the beautiful view. Love your potholder. Once you are settled in, I'm sure you will be back to stitching your wonderful Christmas projects and the larger ones too (Dragon Master comes to mind). Congrats Kjersti, that is a big move. Can I ask which town you moved to? I'sguess Båtsfjord by the map but wanted to ask anyway. I used to live up there myself, in Vardø and Vadsø for my last years at videregående. My mum is from Kiberg so a lot of my childhood was spend up there

wendy: It's nearly 500 km drive to North Cape = Nordkapp up left in the picture (but of course much shorter in the air):


XandraS: Yes, Båtsfjord is the "city" I was in Vadsø and Vardø airports with the little airplane from Kirkenes to Båtsfjord, and I want to see more of it later!
