Firstly, apologies for being AWOL from you lovely people . The reason? I'm now working full time , therefore computer time when I get home is not as appealing as it was when I was part time . But, I have still been stitching. I stitched a kneeler for church and have been doing a bit of model stitching for Bothy Threads (what a joy that is ), but this one was whimpering at me from the cupboard, so I got her back out.

I have been stitching away on her for the past 3 weeks or so, and have now just about had my fill of BLACK!
Here's where I have left her;



I have now started a BRAND NEW PROJECT with some colour and will update my SAL with that in a minute.

Lovely lovely lovely update and it is so good to see this one again! This is one of my favorite designs. I understand what you mean about not wanting to deal with a computer when you spend 8 (or more) hours a day with one at work. I do hope you will be able to check in more often and update us on your projects. I don't blame you at all for getting a bit tired of all that black. It most definitely gets tedious, but will be worth it. I know that you know that, but I find that when I do take out my piece that has soooo much black (which I'm afraid isn't that often ) it's hard to remember. You have been missed!

Good progress! I can so empathize with the computer thing. I work on the computer all day (and sometimes into the night) so when I'm done for the day, I want to get out of this chair and go do something else.

Great to see you and your lovely stitching again Jo. Lovely to see a bit of colour coming into it as well.
