It looks great! Since you have until this summer for the baby to be born, you can easily work on the backstitch in little increments whenever you feel like it.

I've had to skip the sampler with Rabbit. It's an old DMC one from a kit I found but doesnt give the colours! Have another one I can do. Only has Tigger, Piglet and Pooh but its pretty!

Little bit heartbroken today as I found out today that ultimately the child I made this for won't be born. I'll put it up on Facebook in the next couple of days and offer it to a friend. (and as a 30 year old woman I have lots of friends with babies or young kids!)

Am currently doing a second baby sampler but this is for a friend with a born baby, so that one will be finished quite quickly I hope.

I am so sorry to hear about the baby. I think that offering it to a friend who will love the sampler is a good idea. I am sure this is difficult for your brother and his partner and the rest of your family.

Yes, it is. While it's not something I want to go into too much detail it was a choice, but not my brother's so he's pretty devastated.

I'm going to backstitch that one and give it to my friend who just had the baby. Kinda gone off baby stuff right now

I have given myself a big target of 10 bookmarks by March 17th (when my kiddies tball team presentation is) They're all 5/6 so bookmarks would be perfect and I hope would be appreciated.

Bookmarks for 5-6 year olds sounds like a great idea. I think they will love such a special gift. Will you make a different one for each child?
