Am I the only one?

An I he only one whose 'planned patterns' is getting longer and longer?

I started with two patterns. Now have another baby sampler added and a possible mother one. That's not including the Kinkade kit I just bought (and will continue buying these when on sale to go in my box)

Will be going a long time!

Seriously????? I make a New Years Resolution list almost every year it usually has about a dozen projects and by the end of January it usually has doubled. I wish I could stitch in my sleep so I could finish everything I have planned....... :ratherbe:

I never plan more than one ahead because by the time I get there I've changed my mind about what I want to do anyway.

I make the mistake of browsing through various galleries and websites. Before too long, I've downloaded countless images with the intention of making up patterns.

I make a point to not have more than 2-3 projects in the works otherwise I'd never finish any of them!

I really need to thin out my WIPs as I've become a serial starter - I blame you lot for introducing me to so many fab new designers and suppliers

I reckon I have about 12 charts that have been started and I need to do a couple for weddings this year. I rush to kit them up as soon as I get them and then because i've got so many in process I get bored at never seeming to finish one. Perhaps I should ignore the washing and spend the afternoon organising my stash instead. Would certainly be more fun.....

No you're not!!

I have a Yellow Box...it sits on my sewing desk next to the sewing machine.
I put patterns and small kits in it that I want to do....someday soon. From time to time I go through it! It's AMAZING what I find!!! @rotfl:

Doesn't stop me adding stuff though!! :mexicanwave:

Me too! I can't cope with how many I want to do. I wish I didn't have to work and then maybe I would have a chance at completing some of them.

Well, I have a little stash of patterns I'm planning to do, but I rarely add to them (though I admit to another chinese dragon I found just book-browsing), because at my age, being realistic, I might not get to finish 'em all! And neither of my girls are stitchy. Though, following the tradition of me finishing my mom's stitching, they both want me to leave them each a part-stitched one they can finish!  I aim to oblige!
