Not good news

My visits have been infrequent lately and sadly will continue to be so. I learned a week ago that I have cancer (non-Hodkgins lymphoma). Still awaiting a visit with an oncologist to find out how long it has been there, treatment, etc.

So I will post more news when I have it.

I'm so sorry you're having to go through that, Valerie. I just finished my treatments for Hodgkin's lymphoma in April. It wasn't fun, but it was certainly better than the alternative.

I'm so sorry. I maybe know a little of the awful emotions you are going through having been there myself. The waiting and not knowing quite what you are up against, at the beginning is horrendous and I really feel for you.

I had the experience of receiving a cancer diagnosis myself and I know the torture that this inflicts on you while you wait to hear what lies ahead. Mine turned out to be misdiagnosis thankfully.

Oh no! So sorry to hear that Wanda I heard it is one of the more treatable cancers though and has a really good rate for beating it. I had a scare of lymphoma a few years back and the doctors I saw were really helpful. Please know we are always here for you and if you have any concerns or worries we are always here to listen no matter the time of day or night someone will most likely be around.
