Ursula Michael Designs - Finished! 5/9/14

Post by starshine123102 »

Here's a quick project I did this week while waiting for my glow in the dark thread to come in for my haunted house.

It's by Ursula Michael (I  her stuff!) in the CS-N magazine from Sept. 2012. This is the third of 4 pieces, one for each season. I started with this one since someone was borrowing my magazines and only had this one handy.

I'm debating as to whether or not i want to quadruple mat them or have them framed individually. They're all rather square except for the winter one (Rose, it's a :snowman:) which is about 20 stitches more vertical than horizontal. Thoughts??

Oh I love that!!! I personally would frame them separately so I could switch them out with the seasons instead of them being up year round, but that's me personally.

Oh, I'm totally thinking about doing those now! Ugh, this site is so bad for that!

What a wonderful project! I think I'd frame them separately so you could choose to display them "per season" or as a group of four

:applesauce: :applesauce: That is such a neat one  it. Your stitching is great too.

I guess for the framing it depends on how much room you would have to hang a larger frame. :D

:applesauce: :applesauce: That is so lovely!! Like the others, I would probably frame them separately because of the flexibility it will give you. I am eager to see the other seasons, so hope you get your magazine back soon.

It's a super quick project to do if you're looking for something to give yourself a break from a larger project. It only took me 6 days working on it 2-3 hours a night.

I love these! Wonderful work. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

I too would frame them separately. Then you could swap them around as per season.
