Well...I did it!

So, before joining this forum, I shopped mostly at the Hobby Lobby and occasionally made the drive to my LNS. But now...NOW, I know about things like HAED and Chatelaine Designs. I already succumbed to HAED - I own 6 patterns, two kitted, haven't started any yet though (soon...soon.) 30 minutes ago, I ordered my first Chatelaine...I just couldn't resist! You all know what it's like when a design speaks to you and this one spoke to me. Not sure when I'll begin stitching it, but at least it's MINE!! Or, at least it will be as soon as the email arrives.

Beautiful pattern. That is going to be so much fun to stitch, I'm sure. I've managed to stay away from the Chats so far (I don't love beading so that is my excuse right now). I also never heard of HAED before joining and I don't want to even think about how many I have accumulated in 2+ years.
and one in the cart which will be purchased during this sale. Just wait until you start seeing some of the others, Black stitch, Hardangers, Fractals etc etc etc. I am so looking forward to your posting pics of your progress.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get the PDF if you ordered it from European Cross Stitch?

I ordered mine at lunchtime today and when I just checked my email a few minutes ago, it was there!

Always happy to see more Chats being stitched on the forum! They have been somewhat of an obsession of mine since I discovered Martina's designs 2 years ago. The Chatelaine Yuku board is a great source of information and inspirational WIPs!

Interesting, I ordered mine on Sunday night, and the invoice came right away and it said $0.00 so I emailed back right away to see if it still went through and she said it still did & confirmed what I ordered, but no pdf yet. =(

I'll be most interested to watch this progress and hear of your experiences. A couple of Chat patterns are on my horizon. Of course, all the fault of Mrs. Milkybar Kid. She's a bad influence.

Oh that's so pretty. I haven't purchased any Chat's yet, but own three HAED's (had never heard of them until this forum). I hope you'll share pictures of your progress.

My pocket's not quite deep enough yet to get all the supplies needed for this project, but it made me feel better to at least get the pattern so I can drool over it

That design is awesome! I keep going to the European cross stitch site to look at the sea quilt but YIKES......the supplies will cost over $300!! I might just have to get the pattern though so I stop going there to look at it.
