Terry's Chocolate Orange -- I'd never had one until I came to England; DH traditionally put them in the toes of the boys' Christmas stockings, and got me one as well :-).

Hot Choc -- no better drink for a winter's evening; preferably made with real cocoa powder or, for a real treat, by dissolving (while whisking) Cadbury's milk chocolate into heated milk (full fat of course :-))

Chocolate creme brulee -- sorry chocaholics, but this sounds like a perfectly good dessert ruined (or at least not made any better); a bit like chocolate bread an butter pudding. I can't be a real chocolate fan, I suppose , but I truly think creme brulee and especially bread & butter pudding are perfect as they are :-)

*note to self: must remember to put fool-proof bread & butter pudding recipe with mixed fruits soaked in brandy up in cookbook thread*

I tend to agree with Mabel on the chocolate maybe spoiling the creme brulee. But as I haven't tried it with chocolate I will reserve judgement. I love creme brulee :D

I went with my Daughter to a cafe after work yesterday and had one of those hot chocolate drinks with teeny mallows on top, actually they were tumbling into the saucer as well, you have to eat them with a spoon first before you can even start to drink, not to mention the layer of chocolate powder lurking underneath them, and they give you one of those strange little biscuits that look dull, but taste yummy:D :D

Mars bar cake is yummy! Also small pieces chopped up and kept in fridge and then mixed in with Ice cream are nice as well.

KitKat ... have always loved them.

Penguin, very munchy!

I don't know the Penguin. The other two, yes, although I have to admit I have never really liked Mars. But we used to laugh a lot about it at the university, because we had a phonetic exercise practising the long aa sound, it went like this: "Are you starving, darling? Have half a Mars bar."

Phonetics teachers must be very fond of food -- we had a line to practice the vowel sound in 'but' (and the fact that it can be spelled both with u and o), which went 'Duncan loves mutton chops smothered in onions, the glutton' :-)

I like the Mars bars. Althought not my favorites but I like the nuts.

Kitkats are a treat. One of my daughters favorites. I like that they can be shared easily, this is always a help when there are young ones around.

I would like to try Penguins as we don't have them here in the states. They sound very good.

Oh, I use a little Lindt Lindor box for the little pieces of thread I cut when I finish. It's red and heart shaped - I got it from my DH! (Well, it was quite a long time ago, hm... :thinks: )

My daughter says that she doesn't like the name Lindt for a chocolate it reminds her of something old and fuzzy that is hiding under her bed.
