Men are like that, Mike can't understand how we all on this forum can talk about everything and anything (especially chocolate :D)

If you visit techy or gaming forums the men are always like "Ohhh but I would like to mention something other than games" and they get responses like "NO! We are talking about this gadget/game! And only that!"

See this forum is deceptive. It's not just about stitching, it's life through a stitchers eyes. Go tell him. Then he shall understand and stop looking at you in that funny way.

erm, not all men are like that. This particular forum member happens to be a family man, an enthusiastic stitcher, and I'm told also a very understanding person...

Having said that I'm also a member of a couple of those other techy forums, and your observation sounds quite accurate, which is one of the reasons why I spend so much of my online time on this one... much more friendly and welcoming

My OH regularly tells me that I'm not like most men... and at first I was a bit worried by that comment

....then /i realise that there are probably not that many cross stitching, leather clad bikers around?? :thinks: LOL

Nope, you're one of a kind, and that's why you're so loved *hands you cookies*

But you know what my daddy always tells me? If you can do something distinctly femenine and be proud of it, it just shows that you're comfortable in yourself. And we think that's something to be proud of *nods* What bike have you got?

Many thanks all for the comments and support - MUCH appreciated

My bike here (a 1991 GPZ500S for anyone in the know) although I've since removed the stickers etc, and given it a respray. It's now a sort of satin effect metallic black

As if we could not support you? Or anyone on this forum for that matter...

Oooh she's lovely! I bet her respray looks fantastic, the factory stickers do look a bit dull on bikes IMHO. They looks much nicer with new clothes. And yeah, I'm well aware I refer to bikes and cars as women... I still have no idea why that happens, I always do it.

Bikes are hot. Angels mommy gets scared about Angel because Angel loves bikes so much. Like you Jess, I'm not too up to date on all the bike makes, but I know a few that I like. And that Japanese one I can't remember the name of, but still like.

Oooh yes Daz, show us the custom when you've finished.
