I don't know how it happened but I seem to have more than ever on my to do list - I think this forum is a bad/(good ) influence in that respect.

I also now seem to need a monthly hardanger fix - I wonder where I got that from

Here is my first for this year - Mabel's Floral Lace Rose. Had some fun picking colours for this - I thought pink would be fitting for a rose

I absolutely love this. I have 5 regular sized rose bushes and three minis and absolutely adore roses. My favourite colour is pink as well so this is just beautiful to me.

I now seem to have a rotation First week of the month is hardanger, 2nd is Christmas card, 3rd is a medium size project and 4th a larger project.

Carole - they are beaded doves eyes I hadn't got any white seed beads as I picked my supplies before I made my mind up on which of Mabel's designs to go for. These beads are from a beaded necklace that I never wear.

Very pretty! I don't usually like beading so I don't think of that. I have a lot of beads from necklaces I never wear and hadn't thought about how I could put them to good use. Are you planning on doing the other patterns in that group? They are stunning (of course)

Yes I will be doing the other designs.

If you use beads from necklaces make sure (if you want to iron your stitching afterwards) that they are not plastic. These are from a very old necklace so I don't think they are plastic. I ironed it between some cloths to make sure it would be okay.
