Here is mine but it isn't very good. The card got all wrinkled from the glue. I don't know how it happened, I use the same glue bought from a craft store to glue textile to paper.

It is not dry yet - may be it will be better when dries? Shall I put it back under my dictionaries where I was pressing it for 3 hours? But it was there it got wrinkled... I am so sad. Please, tell me what you think.

It may be less wrinkly when the glue dries, it's hard to tell from a photo, keep us up to date Agi, then we will give you an honest opinion :D

The stitching is beautiful.

Maybe it was to much pressure on the card. Maybe the weight of the book was what made the wrinkles. Let us know what you decide.

That's a shame Agi as the stitching is so beautiful. It may be that it will sort itself out more when totally dry. I'd do as you have suggested yourself and leave it under your heavy books until completely dry then see how it looks. I realise this won't help you at all at the moment, but I found that double sided sticky tape is much easier to use when making cards than glue. It might be worth giving that a try in the future.

that has happened to me. it's from the top paper being thin and too much glue. when you put pressure around it..it shows the outline of the fabric and the paper gets too wet from the glue.
i've had to slowly peel the paper off the top and go again with thicker paper and i use a paint brush to brush on the glue.
I have started using acid free double sided tape and that works MUCH better.

hang in there..i have had some real disasters when card making...
