Kezzy's Projects - UPDATED 19/06/14

Post by Kezzy »

After sorting out my craft room my stitchy bug came back after a few years of not stitching much at all. I've done a wedding sampler already this year and have now gone back to a couple of old projects. One being a German Shepherd in Sepia - I had completed a quarter of it then left it for a few years, now I'm back on it. Here is the progress so far - not the best photo but you get the idea. Thinking of rotating but am enjoying seeing this grow.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments - I agree, the eyes are gorgeous but the finished piece shows her with her tongue hanging out which is just like my old dog.

Coolpenguin here is my sampler, I did have it on another thread:

Update of my German Shepherd - quite pleased with this week's progress. I'm supposed to be rotating as I have that many WIPs but I'm enjoying this one again.

:applesauce: :applesauce: Beautiful piece! I haven't known very many German Shepherds, but this one's eyes remind me of Delgado (the Shepherd in the movie Beverly Hills Chihuahua) who had amazing expressive eyes. As I said before, those eyes are amazing!
