How lovely to see you, fully concentrating on your craft preparation, while Lexi is totally relaxed beside you!
Thank you for the photos. :D
Lexi likes helping you presenting your work : the sheep is so cute and sparkly :applesauce:

From the look of pride on Lexi's face, I think she either is very proud of you for creating such a fun and lovely design or of herself for supervising the majority of the work.

Looks great. And the sheep does too!

Finished Trina's Sheep - but getting a good picture is proving difficult, he's so blingy I can't get the face to show properly :-)

Also some progress on my sunflower:

It doesn't quite capture him - the face especially is almost impossible to get right in a picture - but here he is! He is rather a miniature sheep, 3.5 x 4cm

I think that your sheep is amazing. The fleece is perfectly perfect! I love his face. I can see why its hard to get a good picture, but I love it. So incredibly creative! :applesauce: :applesauce:

:applesauce: wow :applesauce:

I love him, the fleece is amazing, I love the way all the different angles catch the light and his face is just wow, I can't find the word for it, it looks like the front of his face is built up higher than his eyes, is that right or is it just me.

He is one blingy sheep for certain. :)

Maureen, the silver kid is the same thickness everywhere (below is a pic of his face before it had a face :-) ) but the stitching on it (colonial knots and some straight stitches) cause "ups and downs" - it's that which makes it difficult to photograph because it catches the light differently all the time! (Oh, the second pic shows Lexi getting friendly with the sheep :-) )

Wonderful sheep, amazing what you've done with the materials you used. Great work of art, amazing fleece & so shiny - stands out amongst the other sheep = would look really something else next to a black sheep :) Love your bag & your cat :applesauce: :applesauce:

So, Trina's Sheep. He was stitched, but I couldn't decide how to properly finish him (and please, no-one suggest "with mint sauce"...)

Then a dear friend sent me a birthday present while travelling in Pakistan - a bracelet, which was unfortunately too big for me. But it looked just about right for a little blingy lamb!

I cut a circle of stiff card a little bit larger than the outer rim (which had a thin ridge on both sides), put some wadding on it, covered it with the embroidery, and pushed it in. I cut some of the excess fabric off and pushed the rest inside the bracelet. Another circle of stiff card held it inside, then a circle of craft foam was pushed in on top of that to neaten the back. Et voilà :-)
