Oh Mabel! Thank you so much! I love the pendants. They are beautiful, so I clicked on your link and found your lovely designs to download.
Furthermore, they are easy to print off.
The Jewelled Cross will be perfect for a friend, as he celebrates 40 years as a "reader" in his church, in October. :D

A few more experiments first up is another bauble, this time with perle #5 for the heavy chain stitch, and colour-matching thread for attaching the fabric. It still has a few issues, which I'll be writing a FoF about soon.

And my fourth Tree of Life leaf; this one uses Mountmellick stitch in two colours, whipped backstitch (I do like the cord-like look that produces) and bullion knots (which DH can't help pronouncing as "bouillon knots" - I tell him to think gold rather than soup :-) )

Very nice!

You should have a go at a series of Paisley pickles (or have you already... can't remember -- you have done so many lovely designs).

The Tree was inspired by an Indian design so you're not far off with the Paisley. As it is I think I'll keep them as part of the tree, offering variants for most of the leaves.

I just love those leaves! :applesauce: :applesauce: There are endless filling in stitches you can use and, just like Mother Nature's Leaves, each one is unique. :applesauce:

The difficulty is going to be deciding which ones to use in the final tree

I'd have to redesign the tree to accommodate them all, and if I did they couldn't be the shape they are now!
