Knight - FINISHED!!!!

Post by vanessanjf »

I have been talked into doing another picture for someone! It is for one of my boyfriend's friends. He does medieval shows where he dresses as a knight and wants one of himself dressed up to hang in his knight tent. Here is a photo of him that he wants me to do. It hasn't printed very well but it won't have all the streaks in it stitched up. I'm not really looking forward to it because I have so many of mine own I want to do but he did say he will pay me for it :)
It will be on 16ct aida and has 100 colours.
When it is finished he wants me to leave a loop on at the top to hang on a rail like a curtain :thinks:

If he's going to hang it on a rail, wouldn't it be better to have at least 2 loops?
I'm sure you'll have this stitched up pretty quickly and be back on your own projects soon.

I asked him that and he said he would like one continuous loop at the top going all the way along.

That is going to be one awesome picture and I expect at least more fun to stitch than some of the other things you have made for others in the past. And how absolutely cool it will be to have a "tapestry" hanging in a medieval knight's tent! I am looking forward to seeing your updates on this one!

What a fun picture to get started on. I have been playing around a lot in my PC Stitch with photos and stuff. So many ideas and so little time.

I can't wait to watch this knight come to life.

Amazing, that will be awesome when done & I am sure your boyfriend's friend will be absolutely delighted with it. Kind lf you to stitch it even tho you are going to be paid, as you have many things of your own to do. Good luck with it & I look forward to seeing updates of this :D
